Each year, the Doctoral School of Economics Panthéon-Sorbonne (EPS) organizes a seminar day open to all PhD students in economics from ED465 EPS. Aims of the seminar include reinforcing interactions between the different research fields in economics and giving PhD students an opportunity to present their work to a heterogeneous audience.

The Augustin Cournot Doctoral Days (ACDD) is an international event dedicated to the promotion of excellence in doctoral research. The conference aims to offer Ph.D. candidates an academic environment to present their latest work, discuss with senior researchers and share ideas with other international colleagues in the cosmopolitan European capital of Strasbourg.

Opens external link in new windowNew seminar: Economics and Complexity Lunch Seminar

The Economics and Complexity Lunch Seminar takes place every two weeks on Thursday from 12:30 to 13:30 at University Paris 1 (Room S/3, Maison des Sciences Économiques, 106 - 112 Boulevard de l'Hôpital).

It aims at providing a friendly and informal atmosphere in which ongoing research can be presented and discussed. The seminar welcomes both theoretical and empirical works applying concepts and methods broadly related to the growing field of economics and complexity, including networks, agent-based models and evolutionary economics.

 

The seminar welcomes presentations by young and less young researchers, as well as from PhD students.
