Programmes doctoraux internationaux
L'École doctorale Économie Panthéon-Sorbonne participe à plusieurs programmes doctoraux internationaux en économie et en mathématiques appliquées.
Ces programmes couvrent généralement toute la durée de la thèse. Ils permettent aux doctorants de réaliser leur thèse en alternance au sein des établissements partenaires.
EDEEM (European Doctorate in Economics – Erasmus Mundus)
Doctoral program in economics that gathers seven leading European institutions: Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, University of Amsterdam (Netherlands), Universität Bielefeld (Germany), Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal), Università Ca’Foscari Venezia (Italy), Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and EHESS (France).
The program is organised in three years. All PhD students are jointly supervised by two advisers through a bilateral agreement between two universities in the consortium. The preparation of the PhD thesis will be carried out in alternating periods of at least two semesters in both universities. The students having successfully carried out the study program will be awarded a joint or a double doctoral degree.
ExSIDE (Expectations and Social Influence Dynamics in Economics)

How will the stock market develop? Will I get a pay rise next year? When will the Central Bank change its interest rate policies? Expectations influence the behavior of many economic decision makers. The recent financial and economic crisis has highlighted again the importance of expectation dynamics for economic development as well as for the success of firm strategies and public policies. However, many aspects of the formation and implication expectations in Economics are still not well understood. The Innovative Training Network ExSIDE aims at improving our understanding of the role of expectation formation and social influence for economic dynamics and for the optimal design of economic policy.

ExSIDE combines an interdisciplinary research agenda with an innovative European joint doctoral training program, which provides doctoral fellows with a broad range of expertise and skills needed for a thorough analysis of expectation formation processes and their role in Economics. Both the research projects and the training activities will combine work in Behavioral Economics, Psychoanalysis, Opinion Formation, Network Theory, Agent-based Simulation and Economic Modelling in different areas. The academic training will be complemented by extensive Transferable Skills Training Measures, intersectoral Training Measures, provided by non-academic partners, and Career Development Training. Interaction with stakeholders, policy makers and the general public will play an important role in pursuing the ExSIDE agenda and disseminating the results.

The ExSIDE consortium consists of eight leading European universities and nine non-academic partners. Each of the 15 ExSIDE doctoral fellows is hosted by two universities, has a secondment with a non-academic partner and will graduate with a joint or double degree. The research and training in ExSIDE ensures world-wide employability of the ExSIDE graduates inside and outside academia and also contributes to the ability of European institutions and companies to develop efficient policies and strategies. ExSIDE is the largest European consortium offering a structured joint doctoral program awarding joint degrees in Economics.
EBIM Economic Behavior and Interaction Models
International Research Training Group EBIM offers a structured graduate program in the field of Quantitative Economics. EBIM programme gathers Bielefeld Graduate School of Economics and Management (BIGSEM) and Ecole Doctorale d'économie Panthéon-Sorbonne.
QED (doctoral Quantitative Economics Doctorate)
The QED is a network of distinguished schools of economics from across Europe. The network focuses on students exchange, organised through Erasmus+, and on PhD education.
The members of the network are: the University Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne), the University of Alicante (Spain), the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands), the University of Bielefeld (Germany), the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), the University "Nova" of Lisbon (Portugal), the University of Vienna (Austria), the University of Cardiff.
TiQE (PhD Track in Quantitative Economics)
Domaines de l’économie quantitative et des mathématiques appliquées à l’économie.
La thèse est préparée avec une codirection par deux directeurs dans le cadre d’une convention de cotutelle entre les deux établissements.
Les doctorants sont tenus aussi de suivre une formation complémentaire avec des cours niveau recherche, des séminaires, des participations à des workshops et à des conférences scientifiques, des présentations de leurs travaux, des formations complémentaires en informatique et langues. La soutenance de thèse est unique.
EDP (European Doctoral Program)
The European Doctoral Programme in Quantitative Economics is a programme of doctoral studies in economics organised jointly by the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), Paris School of Economics (France), Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn (Germany), European University Institute, Florence (Italy), Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona (Spain) and London School of Economics (United Kingdom).
Its aim is to promote the exchange of doctoral students between these institutions in order for their research training to benefit from the institutions' strenghts in the various areas of quantitative economics.
