Professional opportunities


Beyond the possibility to have a career in research and teaching at the University, the Master's degree in Cultural heritage studies aims at offering professional opportunities in the field of the history of museums, cultural heritage, and cultural policies, in the public sector (State, local authorities, public institutions) as well as in the private sector (companies, associations, foundations).

Working opportunities are of course related to the choice of the degree course for the second year :


  • Chief or assistant manager of cultural heritage project
  • Curator or assistant curator 
  • Organizer of exhibitions and cultural events
  • Consultant in public relations
  • Consultant in cultural engineering 
  • Responsible of corporate sponsorship
  • Scholar: University, CNRS, school of architecture (France and abroad)
